Chicken and coffee chains to come to Henrietta

The third location of Wingstop, a chain that serves chicken wings, will be opening in Henrietta in the fall as well as a Starbucks in the same building.

The two businesses will be in a new building on what was once an Uno Pizzeria on Hylan Drive in the Jay Scutti Plaza South. Banner printing is often used at such sites to inform residents of upcoming businesses.

Work on the exterior of the building is almost completed. The chief financial officer of plaza owner Scutti Enterprises, Gregory Kimber, said that once that is completed, the two businesses will be able to build out their interiors.

Starbucks has a special use permit for the building that will enable it to operate a drive-thru window 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

There are over 2,000 locations of Wingstop across the country. Its first location in the Rochester area is at The Mall at Greece Ridge. It has another location on East Ridge Road in Irondequoit.

The menu of Wingstop includes chicken wings with several levels of heat including hickory smoked barbecue, garlic parmesan, Hawaiian, and atomic. Orders of wings also include blue cheese, ranch, and honey mustard dipping sauces. Wingstop also serves chicken tenders, boneless wings, and a chicken sandwich and Cajun-spiced corn on the cob and hand-cut, seasoned French fries as side dishes.

Both establishments are expected to open this fall.
