Affordable furniture store to open in Henrietta

Bob’s Discount Furniture will be moving into the Market Square Plaza on Jefferson Road in Henrietta.

It will occupy the space that was once the home of BuyBuy Baby, which has been vacant for about a year. Bob’s Discount Furniture sells home décor, rugs, mattresses, and furniture at affordable prices. The price of a full-size mattress starts at $299 and that of a sofa at $399. The store also sells furniture for teenagers and children, as well as outdoor furniture and furniture for a home office.

Permits have been issued by the town of Henrietta for renovating the interior of the building. This will be the first location of the store in western New York State.

Banner printing can be used at such sites to inform residents of such stores coming to an area.

The store was founded in 1991 and has 171 stores in 24 states. Many of its stores also have cafés and offer complimentary cookies, candy, ice cream, and coffee. Bob’s also has a Charitable Foundation that donates and provides aid to hundreds of individuals and organizations, including community fundraisers, social service agencies, schools, and group homes.

Bob’s Discount Furniture is expected to open at the end of August. The hours of the store will be Sunday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.
