Clifton Park flea market indoors for the winter

The Clifton Park flea market has made its annual move to the warm confines of the local mall.

With room for more than 100 vendor spaces, the Clifton Park Center Mall offers a good seasonal alternative following the summer and fall outdoor events at Malta Drive-in. In addition to easy access and ample parking, the mall location also provides a food court and washrooms for merchants and shoppers.

The success of the markets allows the facilitators to make donations at each event to the Regional Food Bank of Northeast New York. It’s a non-profit organization created in 1982 to combat hunger. Donated food is distributed to over 1000 state agencies, who in turn feed about 350,000 needy residents each month across the region. In Clifton Park, the partner agency that can benefit from the flea market fundraising is Karyl’s Kupboard Emergency Food and Hygiene Pantry.

The indoor flea market will be held at the mall once a month through the winter and early spring. Vendors interested in taking part must complete an online registration at least a week prior to the events. Business owners who participate in markets such as this often use flyer printing to promote their products.

The first indoor flea market of the new year will be held January 19, 2025 from 9 am to 3 pm at the Clifton Park Mall, 22 Clifton Country Road.
