Schron Family business changing course with Coney Island tower

The sons of renowned real estate magnate and philantropists Rubin Schron are taking the family business their father built in a new direction, with the construction of a large building in the Brighton Beach-Coney Island part of Brooklyn.

Avi and Eli Schron, two of the elder Schron’s children, are steering a new course of the company with bolder acquisitions and the construction of properties from the ground up. According to the Real Deal website, plans are underway for the company to construct a narrow, 41-story, luxury tower on property the family purchased in 2013 for over $25m.

The tower, which is anticipated to be the tallest in South Brooklyn, will contain 544 rental apartments. Finding tenants to fill a newly constructed building as soon as its finished is always ideal, and a Brighton Beach banner printing service can be instrumental in accomplishing this. In addition to the tower a commercial building, four-stories high with community space, is planned for the 532 Neptune Avenue site

Rubin Schron built Cammeby’s International by creating strategic partnerships to purchase commercial properties. The 78-year-old Schron founded his company, Cammeby’s, in 1967. Since then, his initial handful of moderately priced Bronx properties have been added to numerous times building an impressive portfolio that includes Industry City, 15,000 apartments, and the iconic Woolworth Building. Estimates of his net worth are in the neighborhood of $1.6bn.
