Brighton Beach class covers cutting gardens

Flower fans often dream of having their own garden to enjoy, and a Brighton Beach area activity will show how easy it can be to create one for themselves.

The team at Brooklyn Botanic Garden offers a variety of learning opportunities, and it has scheduled two sessions that will introduce the joys of growing a cut flower garden. Those interested can choose the date that best suits their schedule, and they both will run for three hours.

The facilitator of the workshops will discuss how to choose the right species and cultivars for a particular location. Everyone will find out how they can attract wildlife to their planting, and secrets for planning it so that there will be fresh flowers all season long will be shared. Tips for choosing healthy seeds, plants and bulbs will be provided, and the session is best suited to those who already have some experience with home horticulture.

Many gardeners would like to up their game and are eager to learn something new. A workshop or class allows them to do so, and a flyer printing company will be pleased to supply Copies of handouts and other learning materials.

Brighton Beach green thumbs who would like to learn how to install and cultivate a season-long cutting garden are welcome to register for this class. It will be offered on March 3 and April 7, and it will take place at Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
