As the calendar heads towards another October, Brighton Beach families will be treated to an afternoon of Halloween excitement, thanks to the efforts of two local service groups.
The 5th Avenue BID and Brooklyn Bridge Parents have joined forces to bring Halloween festivities to the community. It will be an event the whole family can enjoy.
The evening festival will be set up on 5th Avenue from 72nd to 85th Street, and this stretch will be kept free of vehicles during the event. There will be a puppet show as well as bouncy castles, and the kids can each decorate a pumpkin, for as long as supplies last. Everyone can do some trunk or treating and haunted trucks, crafts, games, giveaways of Promotional Products, and other fun are all on the agenda. The kids may wear a costume if they wish.
Taking part in a festival and other community gatherings gives a business a chance to show its community spirit. A banner printing company can offer a variety of decor options, including window stickers, Floor Graphics, and pop-up signage for the occasion.
Saturday, October 24 will be the date for this evening of Halloween activities, and it will start at 4:00 pm and draw to a close at 7:00 pm. Many of the activities planned will be free of charge.
