Night of black metal on Albuquerque schedule
Heretical Sect, Wake, and Wayfarer are returning to Sister for an epic night of music with searing tones.
Wayfarer is a band that plays black metal and will be the headline act for the show. Their musical identity is inspired by the ‘Denver Sound’ popular in their hometown. Arguably the band’s most impressive project to date is “A Romance with Violence” which represents Western life.
The music has been described as being rhythmic and bold with plenty of riffs. The influence of artists such as Jay Munly and Sixteen Horsepower is apparent in their work. The album contains seven songs that tell stories of romantic eras, heroes, and killers.
The album was recorded during the height of the pandemic. It was mixed by Colin Marston, and V. Santura mastered it. The band is on tour to share their views of the American West with rock music fans all over the world.
Graphic design is often a big part of shows like this, not least when it comes to having branded merchandise on sale.
Wayfarer and support band Wake will be rocking the stage at Sister located at 407 Central Avenue in Albuquerque on December 4. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Heretical Sect will take the stage first at 8:00 pm, followed by Wake playing at 9:00 pm. The headliner, Wayfarer, starts at 10:00 pm. Tickets are on sale for $15. Entry is restricted to people aged 21 and over.
