Annual Thanksgiving run to return to Albuquerque

The yearly Turkey Trails running event is set to come back to Albuquerque this fall.

This annual Albuquerque holiday run consists of three different races, a 5K, a 10K, and a half marathon. Other activities that will take place during the event include a kids’ dash, photos, beverages, food, and costumes. The organizers of similar holiday-themed events frequently utilize banner printing in order to create visually captivating decorations.

Runners who wish to participate in the 5K or the 10K run can register online at $35 per person. Those who decide to take part in the half marathon can register for a fee of $73 per individual. After Sunday, November 1, sign up fees for all three divisions will increase in price.

Individuals who complete registration by November 12 will receive a guaranteed shirt. All registered participants will be evaluated through chip-timing to receive the opportunity to win an award as one of the top three winners in their respective age and gender groups. Masters awards will be given to the overall winners ages 40 and older.

On the day of the race, packet pickups will take place 6:45 am to 7:30 am onsite. All three of the races will take place at 8:00 am.

This event is scheduled to be hosted at Tingley Beach on Sunday, November 22.
