Animal Myths Discovery Day to be hosted in Albuquerque

The yearly Animal Myths Discovery Day is scheduled to return to Albuquerque next month.

This educational event will be hosted at the ABQ BioPark Zoo to dispel common animal myths and explain the facts behind them. Visitors will be able to learn the truth behind myths such as elephants’ supposed of mice, or that polar bears coexist with penguins in Antarctica.

Visitors will be able to learn more about each animal at various information stations located in front of each exhibit. Volunteers at this Albuquerque zoo welcome any questions people have about the animals. Printing services are often used by organizers at such events to create informational flyers and brochures for visitors.

Anyone who is interested in this event can attend by purchasing general admission tickets to the zoo. New Mexico locals with proof of residency can purchase tickets at $5 for children ages three to 12, $10 for adults and children 13 years old and up, $5.50 for seniors, and can bring children under three years old for free. Visitors from outside the state can buy tickets at $6 for children ages three to 12, $14.50 for adults and children over the age of 13, $7.50 for seniors, and free for children two years old and younger.

This event is set to take place on Wednesday, April 1 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
