Albuquerque to raise smiles with festival

This year marks the 9th Annual SmileFest, and will be celebrated at Cliff’s Amusement Park. SmileFest is aimed at helping children and families deal with cleft lip and palette.

This event is by invitation, and interested families can contact the event coordinator, Krista Sullivan. Families can get up to four passes for the event. Each pass allows complimentary rides at the park, and is valid all through the event, from noon to 7:00 pm. From 4:00 to 6:00 pm, guests are invited to enjoy food, drinks, and fun at the Pepsi Pavilion.

Cliff’s Amusement Park is on Osuna Road Northeast in Albuquerque, and features a variety of rides and games. There are coasters and thrill rides and a kids zone for the rides, and games from laser maze to frog fishing and basketball contests.

Coordinators of such events often use flyer printing to pass out details to parents and patients. Flyers are an easy way to pass along information and serve as a physical reminder as well.

Regular passes are available for those interested in attending who do not get a free pass. The theme park offers three levels of attendance - regular all-day passes, child or senior all-day passes, or spectator only passes. Plenty of parking is available out front.

SmileFest will be held on the afternoon and early evening of Sunday, July 21.
