The Wayne Public Library is hosting a posture workshop and author meet and greet as part of its adult summer reading program this August.
Roberta Bergman, an ACE-certified fitness instructor, will discuss her new book, Back on Track: The Lifestyle & Exercise Guide On Healing Back Pain, and run a 15-minute interactive workshop based on the book’s program. She will also leave time to answer audience questions. The workshop will offer suggestions for improving posture, exercising, and making ergonomic adjustments to prevent future back pain. It is appropriate for adults of any age, including seniors.
The workshop is free to attend, but space is limited and participants need to sign up in advance. The registration form will open on the library website today (July 16). Libraries often use flyer printing services to promote their events. Those interested can borrow the book from the library’s collection. It also has ebook and audiobook Copies available through hoopla.
The author event is part of the library’s Color Your World adult summer reading series. Other events include movie screenings, a six-week crocheting class ,and virtual author talks. Details about registration Forms for all of these events are available on the library website.
The Back on Track workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm in Library Room A/B.
