Wayne is hosting its annual town celebration this fall.
Wayne Day will include live entertainment, food vendors, and carnival rides for children. There will be more than 100 tables representing local businesses and organizations like civic and religious groups. Groups often give out Promotional Products like Pens at this type of event.
The Wayne Fire Department will have some of its trucks and equipment on display, along with the Wayne First Aid Squad. Live music will start at noon, and the bands performing will be posted on the Wayne Day website.
The event is designed to be affordable. Admission is free, rides are $1 each, and the organizers are working to keep food prices low. Booths will be focused on providing information about resources and ways to get involved in the community. Pets are not allowed at the event. Wayne Day will go on rain or shine.
Booth registration is open now. The fee is $250 for businesses and $150 for nonprofit organizations. Electricity is available for an additional $90. Except for food vendors, booths cannot sell any products or services, and each booth must have some type of activity for visitors. Booths can run free raffles.
