Child Focus is hosting a fundraising gala in Wayne this fall.
The gala is a celebration of Child Focus’s advocacy work that supports children in foster care. It will include music, cocktails and recognition of this year’s Champion for Children Honoree, Hon. Daniel J. Yablonsky, a retired judge on the Superior Court of New Jersey.
During his 15 years on the bench, Judge Yablonsky volunteered with CASA of Passaic and Union Counties, swore in over 100 CASA volunteers and advocated expanding the Safe Babies Court Team. The CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program trains volunteers to advocate for children in the foster system, and the Safe Babies Court Team supports infants and toddlers in foster care. These programs now operate as Child Focus.
Gala tickets are available now for $250 per person or $2500 per table of ten. Sponsorship packages range from $2,000 to $25,000 and include ad space in the event program, on-screen logo display during the gala and at least one gala ticket, with additional promotion for higher-tier sponsors. Program ads can also be purchased separately. Event organizers often work with Stationery printers to create this type of event program. The organizers are also looking for donations of wines valued at at least $15 per bottle.
The Voices for Children Gala will be on Friday, October 2, starting at 6:30 pm, at Preakness Hills Country Club in Wayne.
