The Wayne Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its one-year anniversary this January.
The party is intended to recognize the Chamber’s accomplishments in its first year and the members who contributed to them. It will include a buffet dinner, awards, raffles and other activities. Drinks will be available for purchase at a cash bar.
While only members can buy tickets, members are welcome to bring non-member guests. The ticket price will be $75 for members and $85 for guests, and tickets will go on sale on the Chamber’s website soon. Sponsorship opportunities will also be posted soon. Organizations often work with Print shops to create Signs to recognize sponsors at their events.
Wayne leaders had discussed starting a Chamber of Commerce for years and attempted to launch an organization in 2022. The current Chamber started from a luncheon in December of 2024, where 40 local business and community leaders met with municipal government officials to discuss the idea. Joe Graziano, who is serving as president for the Chamber’s first year, has both local and Chamber experience. He founded Wayne Day, a popular community event that has been running for 30 years, and served as the president of the Nutley Chamber.
The Wayne Chamber of Commerce’s first birthday party will take place on Tuesday, January 13, from 6 pm to 10 pm at The Cosmopolitan.
