Wayne Chamber to host town-wide competition

The Wayne Chamber of Commerce is looking for sponsors for the sixth annual WayneQuest event this fall.

The Chamber is partnering with TAPinto Wayne, a local news website, to run WayneQuest6. This year’s event has a Cold War spy theme. Participants will need to visit ten different locations in Wayne, where they can compete against other teams for clues and information that leads to the final code that unlocks a safe. The winning team will receive a $1000 cash prize. There will be a lunch after the game where the winner will be announced and additional prizes will be awarded. Details for participants are available on the TAPinto Wayne site.

There are several types of sponsorship opportunities, ranging in price from $100 to $1000. There are ten slots available for Mystery Stop Sponsors, which are intended for businesses with physical locations in Wayne interested in acting as one of the competition stops. About 200 participants will visit these stores or offices during WayneQuest. Businesses often use poster printing services to promote their participation in this type of community event. Game and prize sponsors are available for companies that do not want to host part of the competition. Interested businesses can register on the Chamber’s website.

WayneQuest6 will take place in the morning and early afternoon of Saturday, October 4, at multiple locations in Wayne.
