Winter Wonderland skating to return to Northvale area

Bergen County’s annual Winter Wonderland will return to Van Saun Park for the eighth year this holiday season.

The event is open to everyone in the area, including residents of Northvale and other towns in Bergen County. It will include ice skating, ice bumper cars, games, music, a carousel, food trucks, and a beer and wine garden. A heated hospitality tent will be provided for eating and drinking. Santa will be available for visits on some dates. Train rides will run on weekend days between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Tickets are available online through the event website. The cost is $20 for an all-access ticket and $10 for a general admission ticket that does not include ice skating. Discounted tickets are available for veterans, current military members, and seniors 65 and older. Children three and younger can attend for free. Towns often use flyer printing services to promote their seasonal events.

Ice skate rentals will be available in sizes ranging from toddler 9 to men’s 13. The ice rink is located outdoors, so skaters should dress for the weather. All-access admission tickets include specific time slots for ice skating, as well as one ticket for a carousel ride.

Bergen County Winter Wonderland will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between November 24 and December 24, and daily from December 26 through January 1.
