Northvale area zoo to host lights display

The Bergen County Zoo’s Let It Glow holiday lantern display is continuing into January.

Let It Glow includes a variety of lights set up around the zoo. This year’s display features more than 40 new animal-themed lanterns. A ride on the zoo’s train is included with admission. There will also be fire pits and s’mores kits available for purchase. On Sunday evenings, craft lessons for kids and families will be provided free with admission.

Tickets are available both online and at the door for $20 for adults and $10 for kids ages three to 17. Kids two and under can attend for free. Organizations often use poster printing services to promote their special events.

Tuesday, January 6 is an exclusive members’ night where zoo members can purchase tickets for half price. Annual zoo memberships cost $35 for individuals and $75 for families and include free year-round admission to the zoo as well as access to special events, making them a popular option for residents of Northvale and other towns near the zoo. The Let It Glow members' night also includes an animal program.

Let It Glow: A Holiday Lantern Spectacular is open Thursdays through Sundays from now until Sunday, January 11. Thursday and Sunday hours are 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, while Friday and Saturday hours are 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
