Volunteers host Northvale area gathering

Bergen Volunteers is having a Neighbors Helping Neighbors celebration and volunteer event this December.

The event will include music, food and social time with other volunteers. Attendees will also be putting together care packages with gifts and essential items for several local organizations, including children’s services, senior centers, food pantries and shelters.

Tickets are available for $25 per person, $30 per couple or $50 per family of three or more. The ticket prices include a donation that will directly support local individuals and families in need. Bergen Volunteers runs a variety of programs for youth, families and seniors, including residents of Northvale and other towns in Bergen County. The event is appropriate for all ages, and attendees are welcome to stay for the full event or just an hour. High school students can receive service hours for participating. They can contact Hilary Baris to arrange this.

Family sponsorships are available on the registration page for $500. These include two tickets to the event and recognition in all marketing materials. Nonprofits often work with Print shops to create marketing materials for their events. Businesses can also sponsor the gathering. Those interested should contact Debbie Corwin to discuss corporate sponsorship options.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors will take place on Sunday, December 7, from 10 am to 1 pm in Paramus.
