Bergen Volunteers is celebrating its 60th anniversary this November.
The 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee will celebrate Bergen Volunteers’ contributions to the community over the past 60 years. It will include cocktails, a sit-down dinner, live music, a silent auction and an awards presentation. The NYC-based Shake, Rattle & Roll Dueling Pianos will perform. Awards are intended to honor the organization’s past, present and future. Recipients will include Janet Sharma, the former CEO of Bergen Volunteers; Amy and Mark Shirvan, who launched the Shirvan Family Senior Safety Initiative; and the Heller Family, who have supported the Teen Leadership Development program.
Tickets are available now for $175 per person or $1750 per table of 10. Guests with specific seating requests should email the organizers by November 1. Sponsorship packages ranging from $1500 to $25,000 are available. Interested businesses can contact Bergen Volunteers to discuss details. Event organizers often work with Print shops to create Signs to recognize sponsors at this type of major event. Businesses and individuals can also purchase ad space in the digital event journal.
Bergen Volunteers runs multiple programs to support seniors, families and youth in Bergen County. It provides volunteer opportunities and leadership development programs for teens and adults in Northvale and other towns in the county.
Bergen Volunteers’ 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee celebration will be on Thursday, November 19, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, at Montammy Golf Club.
