Bergen Volunteers is hosting its 3rd annual Paddles and Prosecco fundraising event this June.
Paddles and Prosecco will feature opportunities to play pickleball for those of any skill level, food, a silent auction and of course, prosecco. Players can sign up for pickleball lessons or enter competitive matches depending on their experience with the game. Bergen Volunteers has already raised nearly $12,000 toward its $25,000 fundraising goal for the event.
Tickets are on sale now for $85 per person. Sponsorships are also available. The family or nonprofit sponsorship package is $500 and includes two tickets. Larger packages for businesses range from $1500 to $5000 and include recognition on event materials, on the Bergen Volunteers website and on cards in the guest gift Bags. Organizers often work with Stationery printers to create thank-you cards for supporters.
Proceeds from the event will support Bergen Volunteers’ programs for families, seniors and youth in need. The nonprofit has been providing volunteer opportunities for those in Northvale and across Bergen County throughout its 60-year history. Community programs include CHEER, which helps seniors stay connected while living independently, and Bergen READS, which offers one-on-one reading support for elementary school students.
The 3rd Annual Paddles and Prosecco fundraiser will take place on Friday, June 12, from 6 pm to 9 pm, at Passion Pickleball Club in Midland Park.
