What's Happening in Northvale, NJ…

Winter Wonderland comes to Northvale area for 9th year

Bergen County is continuing its Winter Wonderland fair and ice skating rink into January.

General admission to the event includes a carousel ride, an ice skating session, and access to the rest of the space, including food and beverage vendors. There will also be food trucks on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. These will include Rolling Pita, Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck, and Empanada Guy. Food vendors often have business cards available for customers interested in visiting their restaurants.

Admission with skating and a carousel ride costs $20 per person, with discounts available for seniors, veterans and current military members. Skate rentals are available for an additional $5. Admission to Winter Wonderland without skating or carousel access costs $10. When the rest of Winter Wonderland is not open, ice skating sessions are available for $10, including skate rentals. The schedule and all the different types of tickets are available on the Bergen Winter Wonderland website.

The event is open to anyone in the area, including residents of Northvale and other towns in Bergen County. There are no age restrictions, but the smallest rental skates available are size toddler 9. The rink may be closed in the event of rain, in which case ticketholders will receive automatic refunds.

Winter Wonderland is open on select days through January 5, while the ice skating rink is open on select days through January 24.
