Weekend-long fall festival scheduled in Northvale area
Bergen County is hosting a three-day fall festival this September.
Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Bergen County is partnering with the Bergen County Parks Department to host the Fall Harvest Festival, which will offer activities for all ages. There will be rides, live music, food vendors, 4-H displays, chick-hatching, and a petting zoo. Master Gardeners will have informational displays and will be available to answer gardening questions. A craft fair area will have handmade items from local artists for sale, and local farmers will be selling their produce in the farmers’ market section.
The event is free to attend, and free parking will be available. Attendees can check the event listing on the county website to confirm when different activities will be happening. Organizers often use printing services to create signs for this type of event.
Attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Bergen County Office of Food Security. The office coordinates food pantries and other resources to provide better support for individuals and families across the country, including residents of Northvale and other towns.
The Bergen County Fall Harvest Festival will take place on Friday, September 26 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm; on Saturday, September 27 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm; and Sunday, September 28 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at Overpeck County Park.
