The Council of Irish Associations of Greater Bergen County is hosting its 43rd annual St. Patrick’s Day parade this March.

The parade will include bands, Irish dancers, classic cars, and representatives from local organizations. Participation is open to any groups in the area, including those based in Northvale and other towns in Bergen County. Bergen County Surrogate Court Judge Michael R. Dressler will lead the parade as its Grand Marshall. A flag raising ceremony will take place at Roy W. Brown Middle School at 1:00 pm.

The parade will start from the intersection of South Washington Avenue and West Englewood Avenue at 2:00 pm. The route ends at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church. Participants should start lining up at 1:30 pm. Spectators can watch the parade from anywhere on Washington Avenue between West Englewood and the church.

Sponsorships and journal ads are available for businesses interested in supporting the event. Journal ad prices range from $75 to $300 depending on their size and placement. The parade journal will be produced both online and in print. Organizations often use printing services to create these materials. Ads can be submitted online on the Council of Irish Associations’ website or mailed in by March 10.
