The Borough of Northvale is hosting an Easter egg hunt for its residents this April.
Northvale's Spring Egg-stravaganza is open to children nine years of age and younger. Eggs will contain a mix of treats and other prizes. Golden eggs will be hidden along with the others, and any children who find one will win an additional prize. The Easter Bunny will join the celebration and will be available for photos, for which attendees should bring their own cameras. Hunt participants will receive an egg carton to help hold onto their finds. Snacks will be available for attendees.
This is a free community event, and participants do not need to sign up in advance. All children participating in the egg hunt need an adult to accompany them. Attendees can meet at the Hogan Park gazebo. Egg hunters will line up on the park’s basketball court before the event begins. Those interested can check the Northvale website for any updates.
Northvale’s Valley National Bank is sponsoring the egg hunt. Sponsoring businesses often give out promotional Pens to advertise at this type of community event.
The Egg-stravaganza will take place at Hogan Park on Saturday, April 1, starting at 10:00 am. In case of inclement weather, the rain date will be the following day, Sunday, April 2, starting at 2:00 pm.
