Northvale electronics company to introduce new capacitors

New Yorker Electronics, a Northvale company, recently revealed it will stock the Type RA Multilayered Polymer Capacitors made by Cornell Dubilier Electronics (CDE).

These capacitors are rated for 125°C operation, and are built using a polymer film that has a thin metal coating, known as metalized polyester. The stacked layers of film are impregnated with a sealant, which means no external case is needed. However, they are wrapped with an exterior Tape to protect them from moisture.

These rugged capacitors are self-healing, and suitable for use in direct current to direct current converters, switching power supplies, and other applications that have high ripple current. They are robust, small in size, and suitable for applications with a long life, and their protection from moisture makes them suitable for use in aerospace and military applications.

The benefits and features of these capacitors include the fact they have a long lifespan, they are small in size, they do not crack, and they respond in the same way as multi-layer, ceramic chip capacitors (MLCC), which are inexpensive and reliable. However, the polymer capacitors outperform the MLCCs. Companies that distribute products like this can use brochure printing to create illustrated materials that explain the benefits of the items to potential purchasers.

New Yorker Electronics meets the industry standards, including ISO 9001:2015 and AS9120B, for a franchise distributor of electronic components for military and aerospace applications.
