A Northvale electronics company is planning to expand its manufacturing and research facilities soon.
ADM Tronics Unlimited (ADMT) is increasing its research and development (R&D) facilities as well as its manufacturing areas because it is expanding its research, and it projects an increase in customer orders. Earlier this year, the company reported its expenditures for R&D had increased by 27%, and there were orders backlogged that added up to a total value of $730,000.
ADMT’s CEO, Andre' DiMino, said investing in the infrastructure will give the company more dedicated space for research, along with a larger manufacturing area that should handle the increased orders from ADMT’s customers. He expects the expansion to be able to handle orders for the next six months to a year, and even longer. He also noted that ADMT’s customers are themselves received more orders from their customers, and in addition ADMT has just landed new customers of its own.
ADMT designs, develops, and manufactures electronic medical devices that are used for both therapy and diagnosis. ADMT has a suite of medical technologies that are propriety to it, and the larger expenditures for R&D are related to the continuing development of these devices. In addition to providing development services and contract R&D for its clients, ADMT also develops medical technologies of its own, and recently filed applications for two new patents.
