A company in Northvale recently announced it will be distributing a new series of capacitors for high-voltage, long-life applications.
New Yorker Electronics distributes United Chemi-Con products, and carries its complete inventory of capacitors. Now it will be distributing United Chemi-Con’s (UCC) KXF series of capacitors, formally called the Long-Life Ultra-Miniature Aluminum Electrolyte Through-Hole Capacitors.
This series of capacitors is guaranteed to perform for 15,000 to 20,000 hours and has been designed for use in high-voltage, long-life applications, such as LED lighting. The UCC KXF series provides users with longer life than the series that preceded it, the KXJ. The KXJ was an industry-leader in filters used in systems that require high reliability like buck-boost converters, chargers, LED lighting, and miniature switching power supplies. The new series offers even longer life.
Nippon Chemi-Con owns United Chemi-Con in total, and manufactures the foil used in its capacitors to its own exacting specifications. This means that UCC is in control of the whole process and can offer a larger range of products. UCC supplies both electrolytic and polymer capacitors, as well as a polymer-electrolytic hybrid, one of a handful of companies to offer these devices.
In 1970, United Chemi-Con began operating in the United States, and is North America’s biggest maker and supplier of aluminum electrolytic capacitors, offering over 8,000 products. Organizations like this can work with Print shops to create comprehensive Catalogs.
