Northvale company introduces groundbreaking battery

A new coin-cell battery is now going to be distributed by a Northvale company.

New Yorker Electronics will distribute a new coin-cell battery offering the highest mAh—milliamp hours, a way of measuring the charge of the battery—capacity in the world. A coin-cell battery is small and round, hence the name. The battery is rechargeable.

These batteries are typically used in such devices as dash cams, smart watches, security devices, and fitness bands. Brochure printing is often used to introduce new products like this.

The new battery is an Illinois Capacitor RJD Series type battery, and has a different design from other, similar batteries. The manufacturer has developed an encapsulation technology that uses all the space available inside the battery case, increasing the storage capacity significantly.

The battery helps with both run time and the size of the product being powered. Since the increased storage raises the level of performance, the time the product runs can also increase by at least 20%. If product size, rather than run time, is more important, the smaller cell will maintain desired levels of performance.

The new encapsulation technique means the battery is more reliable and safer than other models, and is less prone to overheating. In addition, the technology, which is patented, eliminates the risk of an internal short almost completely.

RJD Coin Cells come in eight capacity levels, and are either leaded, or have flat, conventional terminals.
