Northvale company announces upgraded capacitors

An electronics company in Northvale recently announced that a series of capacitors it distributes has been upgraded.

Northvale Electronics is a franchise distributor for the Exxelia Group, which includes Exxelia Tantalum. Exxelia manufactures highly complex components including slip rings, position sensors, filters, and a wide range of capacitors. It is its Mil Wet Tantalum Capacitor that has been upgraded, and is now qualified up to Level P. The voltage range of the capacitor is from 6V to 125V, with a capacitance value between 1.7 microfarads (symbolized by µF) to 1200 microfarads.

The capacitors are available in four sizes of cases – T1, T2, T3, and T4. The cases are made of Tantalum and hermetically sealed, and can operate in temperatures from -55°C to +125°C, and will withstand harsh environments.

These capacitors are often used in avionics where reliability and high performance are vitally important. The newly-designated capacitors, when compared to other tantalum capacitors, offer lower equivalent series resistance (ESR), higher ripple currents, greater capacitance, and less leakage of DC current. In addition to avionics applications, the capacitors are suitable for use in power supplies, converters, filtering applications, and as a backup.

New Yorker Electronics, which was founded in 1948 and is an authorized, certified distributor of electronics, is well known for its sizable inventories, full range of product lines, and competitive pricing. Brochure printing is often used to illustrate the specifications of products like this.
