Northvale area to celebrate fall with harvest festival

The annual Bergen County Fall Harvest Festival will take place in a month’s time.

The Bergen County Department of Parks and Recreation and the Rutgers Extension Office are partnering to host the festival. It is free to attend (including free parking) for everyone in the county, which includes residents of Northvale.

Taking place over a weekend and part of the Friday before it, the festival will offer a range of activities and attractions, including rides, games, food vendors, products from local farmers, and a craft fair. Kid-friendly activities like face painting and a petting zoo will be provided. Live music, displays from master gardeners, and 4-H clubs and other entertainment will also be available.

Games, rides, and food vendors will be open all weekend. The craft fair and other entertainment will only be set up between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Those planning to attend can see the event flyer for a more detailed schedule. Local government offices often use flyer printing services to help promote their public events. Attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Bergen County Food Security Task Force.

The festival will take place on Friday, September 22 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm; Saturday, September 23 from 10:00am to 10:00pm; and Sunday, September 24 from 10:00am to 8:00pm at Overpeck Park.
