The Tenafly Nature Center, which draws visitors from Northvale and other towns across Bergen County, is hosting its main annual fundraiser this March.
The 2024 Legacy Brunch will honor supporters and Life Members of the nature center while raising money to fund its educational and recreational programs. The event will include a silent auction. It will take place at Brasserie Memere, a French restaurant with a brunch menu that includes a mix of pastries and savory options.
Tickets and other ways to contribute are now available on the Tenafly Nature Center website. The cost is $136 per person. Attendees can also opt for a table of six for $800 or a table of eight for $1,000. Those interested in supporting the nature center without attending the event can make donations online. There are also several sponsorship opportunities available for local businesses.
Tenafly Nature Center also publishes an Ad Journal that will be distributed at the brunch. Businesses and organizations, with the exception of political groups, can submit their ads up until next Thursday, February 29. The cost ranges from $150 to $1,250 depending on the size and placement. Organizations often work with local Print shops to create this type of book.
The Legacy Brunch will take place on Sunday, March 10 from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at Brasserie Memere in Closter.
