Bergen County is offering a free learn and play with dinosaurs day at Field Station: Dinosaurs theme park.
Field Station: Dinosaurs is an outdoor exhibition that features a series of walking trails with more than 30 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs. Bergen County is offering free admission for its residents on a set date this August. In addition to the walking trails, the park offers more than 30 live shows and activities. Shows include “Are You Smarter Than a Paleontologist?,” which tells the story of a major historical blunder, and “T-Rex Feeding Frenzy,” which uses a musical performance to teach about the dinosaur’s eating habits. Field Station: Dinosaur aims to combine the latest scientific knowledge with entertainment to create an exciting and educational experience.
The summer event is free to attend, but advance registration is required. Attendees must be residents of Bergen County, which covers several towns including Northvale. The county invites residents of all ages and abilities to attend. The Division of Disability Services is running the event, and those who need additional accommodations are welcome to contact the office. Those interested can register through Eventbrite. County offices often use Graphic Design Services to create promotional materials for this type of event.
The event will take place on Friday, August 19, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Field Station: Dinosaur is located in Overpeck County Park.
