The Jingle Bell Run will be returning to the New York and New Jersey area this December, looking to raise money to benefit research into arthritis.
The run will see people running or walking a five-kilometer distance after raising money from friends and family. Participants are allowed to register as a team to help challenge each other. The event will be hosted in Valhalla, New York, and hopes to draw in participants from surrounding New York and New Jersey areas like Yonkers and Northvale. There will be both timed and untimed runs, so people of different levels of fitness can get involved.
Last year’s Jingle Bell Run used a virtual format due to social distancing concerns, but this year will see the event return to an in-person race. The “Virtual Jingler” format will still be available, with participants able to walk in a place and time of their choice up to the day of the event. Charitable races like this often use Promotional Products to commemorate the occasions, and along these lines, the Jingle Bell Run will include a T-shirt and physical jingle bells for all participants. All money raised will go towards the Arthritis Foundation, which funds research for cures and treatments to arthritis, the leading cause of disability.
The 2021 Jingle Bell Run will kick off at Westchester Community College on the morning of December 4.
