The Bergen CASA program is hosting a golf and pickleball fundraiser this fall.
The “Fore” the Kids Golf and Pickleball Classic lets participants choose between the two games during the day. In the evening, all attendees will meet up for a cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. Golfers can eat an early lunch from 10:00 am to 11:30 am before the shotgun start at noon. Beverages will be available on the course. Lunch for pickleball players will be served from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Round robin games will take place from 1:30 to 4:30 pm.
Those planning to attend can purchase tickets now for $475 per golfer, $325 per pickleball player, and $150 per person for the evening reception only. Discounted early bird pricing is available until this Friday, August 30. Golfers can also sign up as a foursome for $1,800. Both golf and pickleball players will receive hats with the event’s Logo Design.
Bergen CASA is the county’s court appointed special advocate program. CASAs are adult volunteers who work with foster children to ensure that they have a dependable adult in their lives. The program includes children and volunteers from across the county, including residents of Northvale and other towns.
The 2024 “Fore” the Kids event will take place on Monday, September 30 at Edgewood Country Club.
