River Edge is hosting an outdoor Spring Music Festival this June.
The event will be an afternoon of live music, food trucks, games, and arts and crafts activities. The musical line-up is made up of a diverse group of performers and music styles, including the local Tri-County Irish Pipe Band, the Mexican-Bulgarian Guevara and Zhelezova Piano Duo, the ragtime group City Winds Trio, the all-female percussion group Batalá New York, and Grammy-nominated jazz signer Nicole Zuraitis. The full line-up is available on the River Crossing Concerts website.
The event is free to attend and open to everyone in the area, including residents of Northvale and other neighboring towns. Attendees do not need to sign up in advance. They are encouraged to bring blankets for seating on the grass. Food trucks will have food and beverages available for purchase. Organizers often use flyer printing services to promote this type of local event.
River Crossing Concerts, which is managing the festival, is a local organization dedicated to using music to bring communities together. It hosts free and family-friendly concerts throughout the year, usually with receptions to encourage conversation and connection afterward.
The Spring Music Festival will take place on Sunday, June 4, from noon to 5:00 pm, on the lawn and parking lot of First Congregational Church of River Edge.
