The Bergen Regional Medical Center has a new operator, according to an article on NorthJersey.com.
It has been reported that Care Plus Bergen, a nonprofit comprising of Integrity House and Care Plus NJ, is scheduled to take over the center's operations on October 1. It took a prolonged search, which started in August 2016, to find the new management company.
Currently, the center is operated by Bergen Regional Medical Center LP, which had a 19-year contract to operate the facility. However, this contract has recently expired.
The Bergen County Improvement Authority (BCIA) wants to improve the quality of life for county residents by acting as stewards for various projects in the area, and by providing access to high-quality health services at the medical center.
The BCIA participates in projects at the county and community level, coming up with creative solutions and providing access to financing. The agency hopes to improve the quality of services given to residents and patients who are treated at Bergen Regional Medical Center, since it has a responsibility to make sure Bergen County residents have access to sound healthcare.
The medical center, which is in Paramus, about 15 miles from Northvale, provides acute care as well as long-term behavioral services.
Facilities like this can benefit if operators work with a newsletter printing company, which can create a letter for county residents discussing the changes.
