Bergen County is celebrating the 4th of July with its Star-Spangled Spectacular.
The event will include a beer and wine garden, food trucks, live music and other entertainment. The festivities will begin at 3:00 pm. Performances from local musicians will start at 5:00 pm. The lineup includes Jake Thistle, Kristen Plumley, and Leslie Mendelson. The event is open to everyone in the area, with people from nearby Northvale sure to be interested.
The New Jersey Wind Symphony will perform at 7:30 pm. The symphony is made up of volunteer adult wind and percussion musicians with a variety of day jobs. Those interested in hearing the performance without the fireworks are welcome to attend the group’s dress rehearsal on Wednesday, July 3. The fireworks display will begin at 9:30 pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
The 4th of July celebration is part of the Bergen250 initiative, which is intended to mark the 250th anniversary of the country’s founding by promoting local history from diverse perspectives. The project includes schools, community groups, and historical sites. Local governments often use Graphic Design Services to create digital Flyers for their events.
The celebration will take place at Overpeck County Park on Thursday, July 4, starting at 3:00 pm. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled for the following day, July 5.
