Nothing says summer like a cold drink, and now Northvale beer lovers have a chance to sample craft beers from throughout the region.
The Growler & Gill Craft Beer Shop in Nanuet, only a few miles from Northvale, will be the site of the upcoming Lower Hudson Valley Craft Beer Festival. More than 50 breweries will be on hand to supply their craft brews. Everyone who attends the festival will be given a souvenir gill for tasting, and have the chance to sample unique and intriguing brews. A gill is a four-ounce glass; the term is British.
The event will take place rain or shine, live music will be playing all day, and attendees will be able to buy delicious food. The festival is so popular there are two sessions planned.
VIP Session I is from 12.00 pm until 4.00 pm; General Admission I is from 1.00 pm until 4.00 pm. VIP Session II is from 4.00 pm until 8.00 pm; General Admission II is from 5.00 pm until 8.00 pm. General admission visitors will be sampling beers in the outdoor beer tent, while the VIP events take place indoors. VIPS will enjoy a private tasting, hors d-oeuvres, plus acoustic music and raffles.
At this time, the festival is set for June 6, from 12.00 pm until 8.00 pm, but people interested should check to make sure there are no changes in scheduling. Flyer printing can be used to create informative handouts for events of this type.
