Daycare center coming to Northvale

A daycare center focusing on early childhood is in the process of leasing space in Northvale Square.

Kiddie Academy will take over a space at the shopping center comprising 10,000 square feet, according to the broker on the deal, The Goldstein Group. The new tenant replaces another similar facility, a branch of the Children of America chain of childcare centers.

The Goldstein Group's president, Chuck Lanyard, said childcare companies on the lookout for suitable spaces have become very interested in shopping centers in northern New Jersey in recent years. Lanyard said the interest was due to the fact that today, most families are comprised of two working spouses, which makes good daycare facilities extremely important to parents, as they want to place their children in the best possible surroundings.

Founded in Maryland in 1981, Kiddie Academy started opening franchises in 1994 and now operates over 20 locations throughout New Jersey. The academy has a variety of age-appropriate programs available, and focuses on preparing children for school, as well as for life. Each location is encouraged and supported in its efforts to secure accreditation from professionally recognized accreditation organizations.

Kiddie Academy franchisees might want to work with a brochure printing company to create a booklet about the new facility, and make it available to local parents and educators through a targeted Mailing effort.
