Vir Das will be in West Nyack, New York, a few miles from Northvale, at Nyack Levity Live for five performances. Born in Dehradun, India, Das was brought up in Nigeria where he studied at the Indian Language School in Lagos. He also attended The Lawrence School in Sanawar, India, and pursued further studies in Delhi. Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, granted him his bachelor's degree, and from there, he was chosen to participate in the Stanislavsky Program of the Moscow Arts Theatre.
He first became interested in comedy at Knox, where he won the Colton Performance Award for Outstanding Achievement in Acting. He returned to India where he performed in all the major cities, totaling over 100 shows. He has hosted his own television shows, and appeared in several films as well as about 35 plays. His material often reflects current socio-political issues, but always with good humor.

Vir Das will be bringing the laughs to the area on November 6th, 7th, and 8th. He is doing two shows on the 6th at 7:30 pm and 9:45 pm; two shows on the 7th at 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm; and one show on the 8th at 7:00 pm. Poster printing is often used to create publicity materials for events like this.
