Weiner will be signing and discussing her latest novel That Summer, described as:

The new book is a follow-up to her previous best-seller Big Summer. Weiner’s books, typically featuring female protagonists in upscale settings, are frequently marketed as “beach reads” and Weiner has written in defense of the style of fiction that is often dismissed as “chick lit.” Weiner first came to prominence with a string of successful novels in the early 2000s, including a debut based on her adolescent life and In Her Shoes, which was adapted into a novel starring Cameron Diaz and Toni Collette.
The Northvale appearance is one of several stops on Weiner’s upcoming tour, marking her first public appearances in over a year. The tour also includes in-person stops at Princeton University, Weiner’s alma mater, and the Nantucket Book Festival, as well as virtual appearances at online events.
