Adults to get a night off near Northvale

An event has been scheduled specifically for adults in a venue normally reserved for much younger people.

Northvale residents who either do not have any children, or who would like to enjoy a night out without them, and who are curious about the LEGOLAND® Discovery Center in Yonkers, have a chance to make the short journey and explore the facility. LEGOLAND has put one of its Adult Nights on the schedule. Details are still being finalized, and the theme of the evening is still under wraps, but LEGO activity is sure to be part of the event.

The evening will include a class led by the facility's Master Model Builder, and will feature a custom build of the design of the month. Participants will be able to take their LEGO creation home with them. Themed trivia competitions will be held, and the winner will take home a LEGO set. During competitive builds, attendees will have 15 minutes to finish a build using the theme of the evening, and the top three finishers will receive special prizes. As always, the coffee shop will have Starbucks on hand. Banner printing can provide fun decorations for events like this.

The event is limited to those 18 and over, and tickets are available both online and at the door. LEGOLAND is on Fitzgerald Street in Yonkers, a short distance from Northvale. The event will be held August 6, from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
