NJ Transit will be establishing its headquarters in Newark at Two Gateway Center. It will occupy eight floors of the building, thereby demonstrating its commitment to the city.
NJ Transit has signed a lease for 25 years with the owner of the building, Onyx Equities. The president and CEO of the agency, Kevin S. Corbett, said that these state-of-the-art offices will provide the best value for the employees and customers and the New Jersey taxpayers.
Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti, New Jersey Transportation Commissioner, said this new headquarters will provide a more collaborative and efficient workspace for the agency’s employees who design, build, and operate the transit system.
Such agencies often look to Stationery printers when new headquarters are established for the printing of new Letterheads and other corporate materials.
About $53m will be provided by Onyx Equities to renovate the space to meet the specific needs of NJ Transit. The new space will enable the agency to better attract and keep professional staff and enable administrative employees from around the state to be consolidated in one space. There will also be a pedestrian bridge to provide direct access to Newark Penn Station, and an entrance at the street level opposite the waiting room at the station.
NJ Transit is expected to occupy the new building by the end of next year.Get a Free Quote for Letterheads Get a Free Quote for Stationery
