Student fair demonstrates latest in school technology

The Essex County School of Technology recently used its West Caldwell campus to host an open house for middle school students and their parents.

A full-service program is offered by the district so that attendees were able to engage with current students, faculty, and administrators and participate in live demonstrations. Among the schools represented at the fair were two from Newark – Donald M. Payne Sr. Tech and Newark Tech – both of which have been recognized as National Blue-Ribbon Schools.

A competitive Career and Technical Educational program, as well as a college-preparatory academic program that offers many advanced placement courses, are provided by the district. Joseph DiVincenzo, Assistant Principal of the West Caldwell campus, said that 350 students are served within Essex County by the district.

He added that the school is a regular academic high school; the trades are also taught, and many athletic programs are offered. All campuses teach state-of-the-art topics and employ innovative and interdisciplinary instruction.

A comprehensive $35m initiative has been announced by the district to modernize and expand the West Caldwell campus. All accommodations and the learning environment for faculty and students will be renovated and made up-to-date.

Organizers of this sort of event often use flyer printing to inform the community of such special presentations and their contributions to the community.
