Residential project to be tallest in Newark

A new development is planned for Newark that will have 1,008 residential units in two towers.

The towers will be 51 stories high with 427 units in one tower and 581 units in the second tower. The developer is KS Group, based in Newark. Daniel Speigel is the owner of the firm. KS Group will be partnering with Giga Holdings based in Jersey City.

The project was designed by INOA Architecture which is known for its sleek designs. The firm also designed the Summit Tower in Newark which is 41 stories tall.

Speigel expressed his excitement about this project which will be on Mulberry Street. He said it will contribute to the skyline of the city and be part of the ongoing revitalization of Newark. He added that this will be a development of high-quality residential spaces that will add value to the community.

The founder and president of Giga Holdings, Jeff Blau, said this will be the tallest project in Newark. It will meet the requirements of the city for 20 percent of the units to be set aside for affordable housing. This will be about 202 units.

Brochure printing is often used to provide more details about features and amenities of such projects.

The project has been submitted to the Planning but no hearing date on it has been set. If approved, the work will be done by YNH Construction, based in Newark.
