A groundbreaking ceremony was recently held in the East ward of Newark for the Lofts at Lincoln Park, a condominium project to be four stories in height.
The project will have above-ground parking and 24 two- and three-bedroom units. There will be an open kitchen, two full baths, and hardwood floors in each unit. There will also be room for bicycles in the parking area.
The cost of the project will be $5.19 million. Financing is coming from two loans of $1.3 million—one from New Jersey Community capital and the other from the Finance Agency of New Jersey Housing.
According to Hassan Keith, Developer and General Contractor from Lincoln Park Urban Renewal, LLC, the project has taken three years to come to fruition as there are many risks and challenges with redeveloping neighborhoods in Newark. However, such a project also presents many opportunities to change the Signs of decay that have spoiled the landscape of the city into new developments for housing.
Ras Baraka, mayor of Newark, echoed these sentiments by saying that building and opening this sets of condominiums will increase the prosperity of the city and make it more of a destination for new residents.
The city may be turning to numerous printing services to advertise this project and attract people to move into this part of Newark.Get a Free Quote for Signs
