Alpha Evolution Fitness & Training in Newark will be holding its annual strength contest in July.
The 2nd Annual Strongman Independence Competition is an event where people can go up against other weightlifters to win trophies. There are several competitive categories for challengers, such as the Keg Over Bar, Viking Press, and Husafell Stone Carry. Competitors will be split into four categories, including teen, men's novice, men's open, and women's open. Only the first-place winners in each class will be awarded a trophy. The classes may be combined depending on the number of participants.
Alpha Evolution is a training facility that was founded in 2015. The venue offers several types of weightlifting equipment, like the Texas Strength Systems Competition Bench, Rogue & Hampton Deep Dish Plates, and Elite FTS Monolift. The training center also has strongman equipment and machines for cardio-related exercises. People can become a member of the facility for $300 per year or $30 per month. It costs $10 to train in the venue for the day.
The strongman competition will be held on Saturday, July 2 and will begin at 9:30 am. The cost to participate in Alpha Evolution's contest is $75. People can either register for the event at the training center or via email. Athletic facilities in charge of weightlifting competitions like this can use banner printing to promote their competitive events to an outdoor audience.
