Newark area library set to offer crafting program

COVID-19 has changed the landscape for many, and a Newark area library has risen to the occasion.

Starting today and running throughout the fall, Nutley Public Library will be helping kids to catch the crafting bug by offering them an assortment of craft kits. Registration is required to take advantage of the “Take and Make Saturdays” program, and the procedure to follow has been planned so that it will be simple and streamlined.

Each week, community members will be invited to register, and the kits will be distributed for as long as supplies of them last. Each Saturday, those who have reserved one can either call the library and have it brought out to them or they can visit the Children’s Room during Public Browsing Hours and obtain theirs. All ages are encouraged to flex their creative muscles, and there is no cost to get involved.

Offering this sort of program is one way for a library to adapt to changing times, and promoting it can be a snap with help from a flyer printing company. It will be able to supply everything from small publications for Mailing, to large Posters.

Nutley Public Library will be running this initiative from today (September 16) until December 19. Its Eventbrite listing includes more details, as well as telephone and email contact details.
