New leadership comes to hospital in Newark

Anna Michelle Brandt has been named by University Hospital in Newark as its new chief operating officer.

Brandt was previously the chief of staff at a surgical, medical, and teaching hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Her tenure comes at a time where the hospital is about to begin a plan over the next several years to expand and modernize its campus and medical facilities in Newark.

President and Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, Ed Jimenez, said that Brandt will be leading the daily operations of the hospital and will focus on patient access, safety, quality, and faculty relations. He added that Brandt’s record of accomplishment as a healthcare veteran made her extremely qualified to lead such operations at the hospital.

Such new appointments often call for business card printing services. Brandt said that she is looking forward to ensuring the highest quality of care for the patients at the hospital and for the community for many years to come. She expressed her honor in joining the leadership team at the hospital, and in having the opportunity to further the mission in delivering high-quality healthcare, while increasing the positive impact of the hospital in the community.

Brandt has 15 years of experience in hospital leadership as associate vice president of operations at University of Florida Health Shands Hospital, and then its vice president and chief of staff.
