Cutting-edge broadcasting comes to Newark arts center

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), located in Newark, recently announced that it will expand its in-house television capabilities with plans to create a modern broadcasting center within suburban New York City.

Panasonic Enterprise Solutions Company, a division of Panasonic Corporation of North America, is working with NJPAC to make the additions to its broadcast production, operation, and technical presentation functions possible.

The President and CEO of NJPAC, John Schreiber, said in a press release that broadcasting is essential to the growth of the Arts Center. In addition to providing new opportunities of revenue, broadcasting will enable the Center to provide learning opportunities for millions of students every season. Schreiber added that the assistance of Panasonic will enable the Center to provide the arts to its diverse audiences.

Chairman and CEO of Panasonic Corporation of North America, Joseph Taylor, added that this project with NJPAC is an initiative for supporting education in the arts and distance, which can be beneficial in the long-term for both Newark and the state of New Jersey. It also has the potential to make young people more aware of opportunities in broadcasting and to pursue television careers, which they may not have known existed.

By working with local Print companies, NJPAC can create Brochures with more information about the expansion of its television broadcasting plans and to Tape Black Girls Rock from Black Entertainment Television later this month.
